Installation, Drawings, Video
Artist statement:
The title Woander is a combining of “Wonder” and “Wander”, which best describes the experience of mapping out the space into a three dimensional drawing. This combined installation/performance work was exhibited outside of PS 122 Gallery in the Spring of 2003. I built the web out of twine and rope as a public performance, for 12 hours per weekend in a 2-month period. The results were exhibited as an installation for 2 months further, accompanied by a monitor displaying video recordings of the performance, with the tools and materials used for the producing it.
