“Dance Memoir” is a tribute free style dancing in New York City.
My works in the exhibition at Westbeth shall illuminate a club like atmosphere, along with the mobile music station used during the performance period. In-between my dance sessions during the festival, I will add excerpts from exchanges onto color field wall panels with colorful silkscreen prints of dancing figures, Select works will be available for sale during and after the exhibition. Find my mobile music station with a disco ball at Union Square or along 14th street. I’ll groove to my playlist of tunes from the disco, punk, hip-hop, and rock era as I invite you for a moment of dance and conversation. Tell me about NYC clubs times passed or how dance changed your life and body image.
